About this site and The Apex Arts Council

The Apex Arts Council (AAC) is a nonprofit organization that supports all artistic disciplines, including visual art, music, dance, theatre and literary arts. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life in our community through the cultivation of creativity, excellence, and diversity in the arts and stimulating their appreciation and accessiblity.

This site is open to members of the Arts Council, and supporters. This is intended to be an open forum where creativity in encouraged.
We do have a few simple rules:
1. Inappropriate material may be deleted at the discretion of the administrator if necessary. This is an online community, and like any community, it's greatest asset is it people and their contributions. So, please visit and contribute often!
2. Spam will NOT be tolerated in any form! If you are uncertain what "spam" is, see the blog post "I am spam".
3. All members are required use a personal name to upload a personal photo! You are welcome to upload other photos, logo's in your gallery.

This is an online community, and like any community, it's value comes from it's people and their contributions! Please visit and contribute often! Interact with others by posting valuable information and content and by commenting on the contributions of others!

This year the Salem Street Arts Festival is being held at the Depot on Saturday October 3, from 3pm to 7pm, following the Farmers Market. This time slot also follows HarvestFest at the Apex United Methodist Church (7am to 2pm).
